"I'll start my diet tomorrow..."

Come on! We've all been guilty of it. The thought of working out and eating healthy sounds like an awesome idea of course! It looks awesome.. IN YOUR MIND! But it surely isn't easy. I wish I was obsessed with working out so I wouldn't feel so BLAH! when I put on those skinny jeans! I just don't have it within me to get all excited about doing squats and sit-ups. I'll admit I dread the idea of sweating and putting my muscles to work, although I despise the idea I know that there is no other way. Throw on your work out kicks and bring out your veggies!

TRY THIS WITH ME!

Lets get more active and carry less! I came up with some ideas that might help shed a few pounds for us who just won't make it to the gym.

Watching what your eating is the first step in our little project. Try avoiding fry foods, heavy foods (pasta, rice, bread), and eating late. Eat more greens, greens and meat is great & healthy protein for your body.

Here's a delicious idea to start with: Maple-Glazed Chicken with Apple-Brussels Sprout Slaw

I recently moved to the 3rd floor and try avoiding the elevator as much as possible and I take the stairs instead. Walk/Jog up those stairs every time as if you were just finishing a work-out! If you don't have stairs where you live try taking a 5-10 min walk or try walking-off some calories after eating on your lunch break. Below are some more useful ideas you can use.

My World!

Welcome world! I've always had a passion for writing and sharing my thoughts and advice with others. At times I've felt alone in many life situations and felt as if there was no where to turn to. Hopefully this blog will be a way of helping people understand they are NOT alone. I've struggled with embracing the beauty in self -love but have come to recent terms on learning in loving myself for who I am. I want to share my thoughts and ideas with everyone in hope to help someone else to learn the true beauty in loving oneself. Life is much more than understanding and pleasing others. You are your own author to your story, stop letting others write it for you & start writing!
